Children are given 5-8 basic facts to practise at home through the week. These should be done on scrap paper then they will be tested at the end of each week and given new equations. Children are working on speed, they need to know their facts well before they will be get new ones.

As part of our inquiry into water I have posed a question for the children.
"How do we use water at home?"
I would like them to go round the house, with your help, and look at the ways in which water is used, they should also look outside for taps, drains, guttering etc. A chart will be sent home for them to work through. Your help is appreciated.
